Peter R. also gave me a tip on how to make "Buckwheat Peter" J - a soup. Basically, cook the buckwheat by itself (boil water using 2X more water than grain, add the buckwheat & simmer covered on very low heat till all the water is absorbed- about 30 minutes). When the grain is done, in a separate pan, boil a little water (for one serving, I boil about 1 to 2 cups or so) and then throw in cut veggies- onions, spinach, carrots, kale, broccoli, etc. & cook only for a minute or two so the veggies are cooked but crisp). Put the buckwheat in a bowl, add some oleolux and spices - I like lots of paprika, some salt & pepper and maybe some garlic). Then add the water & veggies to the buckwheat to make a soup. It takes some tweaking to get the seasoning & amt of water right, but it is delicious and actually very simple to make.

Melanie,
Try this buckwheat cereal. My 5 year old loves it. Can add or adjust
to your own taste.
