Try this buckwheat cereal. My 5 year old loves it. Can add or adjust
to your own taste.
Buckwheat Cereal
2 c. groats
1 apple, chopped
2 tbsp sunflower seeds (can grind these if like)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. ground flaxseeds
Boil 2 cups of water. Add groats. Boil, stirring once. Add next 3
ingredients. Turn heat to low and cook uncovered 20 minutes till
grain is cooked. May need to add more water as groats cook. Top w/
flaxseeds.

them, but they just don't taste good to me. I know that they can be
used in all kinds of fancy recipes, but how do some of you eat them
when you just want a bowl of groats? Do you flavor them with
something? Mine just had salt, but I wouldn't say they tasted
particularly good.
