Re: Hi..

Hello and welcome to the group.
Adding the fo/cc to the ensure would help add some "live" food to it,
but it should be only the beginning of helping to get your father on a
healthy diet. My first concern though would be that it would make the
ensure thicker, not thinner.
My next concern is that ensure has so much sugar and sugar feeds
cancer. Also, there is not much in any can that can provide what the
body needs in a way the body can use it. Most is artificial or
synthetic, not living or at best altered. Budwig's protocol is so much
more than the fo/cc. She has provided an outline of healthy balanced
living for the human that can just about assure us of the best health
that we were meant to enjoy!
Fresh fo/cc provides an electron rich food that the body can quickly
use to help to bring a balance back to the cells so they can function
properly. The other foods (in BP) are much closer to their natural
state and are still live (perhaps better said, closer to having been
living and growing). Start to add more of the protocol as quickly as
you can. There is a learning curve, so give yourself time, but with a
goal in mind.
I would try to add some fresh vegetable juices to help get him more
nutrients without filling him too quickly. Carrot and beet would be
good to start with. THis should be done several times a day til he
begins to have an appitite. THis should help to gently "flush" his
system and allow for more improvements.
Is your Dad able to move about to stimulate his system? Please describe
his condition in more detail so ideas for helping can be better fine
tuned for his need.
My feeling is that he has no appetite because his systems are stagnant
(digestive, lymphatic, and probably respiratory systems). They need to
be stimulated to move in a gentle way to improve his overall well being.
I hope this has given you some ideas to start with.
THere is so much information in this group site. Spend time as you can
reading through the files, search posts for topics you are curious
about, encourage your Dad to do this as well. He needs to feel good
about where you are going.
Print out the information that was sent in your group welcome. It is
itself a wealth of information and the best place to start.
If you choose to follow Budwig's protocol you will be more than
surprised at her depth of understanding of our body's needs and her
ability to provide an incredible outline for living healthy!
Hoping his appetite picks up quickly!
Blessings.
Martha

Hello, I'm new to the group. My father has stage III non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma. He does not have an appetite and is undernourished. I would
like to know if FO/CC can be mixed with Ensure instead of regular
low-fat organic milk.
