Re: Why does pain accompany cancer healing?

Tina

In the case of cancer of the BONE dying out, it leaves a spot in the bone
that must be re-grown by the body. In the case of the spinal cord, this can
be very painful to endure as your body regrows the bone and it is called a
¡°compression fracture.¡± I had cancer in my right leg also ¨C in the large
bone ¨C the femur. That bone is about ? inch shorter than the other one now.
If I had been able to stay off of it more, it would not be so short now.
Ah, hindsight is so clear!

Does anyone know why pain seems to accompany cancer healing?
