Thanks for your reply. I do use Redmond RealSalt which contains 50+
trace minerals, including iodine.

it is not bleached, kiln dried, heated, or altered with chemicals or
pollutants.

I have used it for over a year now, but of course, when eating some
processed foods (not much) or eating out, know I get into regular
salt. My doctor has cut me down both last year and again this year on
the amount of Synthroid that I use because she said my numbers on the
test was too high and that I was getting too much medicine. Perhaps
the salt is making a difference.

I have also started using coconut oil for cooking because it is
supposed to stimulate the thyroid. Have also added selenium to my
daily vitamins.

I was just concerned about the statement about flaxseed oil and the
thyroid.
