Re: Cottage Cheese----Organic or not---Frozen ok?

Free Minded

Elliot,

Over here, I cannot get any organic cottage cheese. Then I do it with the regular one, but a very good one though, because I believe it is better to do it, then not. I wish soon to find some around my area. We have organic milk and many organic products, but no cottage cheese organic so far.

It is harder to make may be or the demand is not yet around for the moment.

Diane

Subject: [FlaxSeedOil2] Cottage Cheese----Organic or not---Frozen ok?

I know that Dr. Budwig did not approve of frozen foods, and I know
that organic is better than fresh, BUT my local Kroger grocery store
is having a 10 for 10 dollars sale on non-organic cottage cheese, and
it is very tempting to buy 20 or more containers of it and to freeze
them, given the considerable savings.

I am supposing that freezing the cottage cheese would not affect the
way it works in synergy with the flax oil, and I know Barleans has
said it is ok to keep flax oil in the freezer.

I am concerned about hormones and antibiotics in the non-organic
cottage cheese, and may call the company about that. But I believe
the cottage cheese may be made from milk from many different dairies,
so that it may be hard for Kroger to say just what sorts of things go
into the milk, or into the cows the milk comes from.

Comments, please?

Thank you.

Elliot
