I finally get around to respond to some of the posts of Tuesday... Detailed records of all of Dr.Budwig's cases probably exist, but I have never seen them. I assume they are in the possession of her family. Without such records being made available a database of her cases is obviously not possible. A database of people who use the Budwig Protocol on their own is nearly impossible because non-compliance. There is no control over how people use the "Budwig Protocol". Some think that adding fo/cc to their diet is IT. There are about as many variations as there are people using it, meaning that the effectiveness can vary greatly from person to person based on what they take or leave out. For instance if someone takes harmful fats, high doses of antioxidants or certain drugs with it, the effectiveness can be blunted or nearly cancelled. There are many other reasons why you would be comparing apples with oranges. Dr.Budwigs had control over her patients to make sure they followed her instructions properly (she was known to be very strict) and that I am sure, made a big difference. We, on the other hand, only give information, experiences and testimonials and hope that people are sufficiently encouraged to do enough reading and research so as to follow the Budwig Protocol properly. The basic rules are in our files. Further reading, i.e. reading her books, would be very helpful and is strongly encouraged. Wilhelm ----- Original Message -----

Do you know if there's a worldwide database for logging the successes (and failures, to be fair) of Dr. Budwig's treatment according to malady? That seems to me to be the way that people can verify and gain trust in the protocol. The reason so many turn to caustic conventional treatments is that it has alleged "statistics-based evidence" to back it up. |
