Re: male breast cancer

Wilhelm Hansen

Hi Rebecca,
welcome to the group.

You are right to inform yourself about your options before deciding which way to go. Here are two sites on chemo:

Have you checked out our testimonials? If not go to our Yahoo site and click on 'Files' on the left, or just click on this link:

You will see several entries for breast cancer. You will also find other information on the Budwig Diet in the files.

You may find Cheryl's recent post (Msg # 20408) interesting:

"I truly feel that you should not worry about the growth hormone
problem. HER2Nu (estrogen positive) breast cancer patients respond
exactly the same to the protocol as non-HER2 patients. My sister had
HER2Nu positive breast cancer along with 2 other people in our group.
Their response to the fo/cc protocol was exactly the same as the non-
HER2 patients. One thing I need to add is that they are using I3C or
DIM (indole 3 carbonol) as well. There are various studies
supporting the fact that I3C or DIM is beneficial if you have a
hormone sensitive cancer."

The story of Cheryl's sister is in our testimonials.

Wilhelm

Hello
I am a new member of the group, I am English and I live in France.
My husband has just had a mastectomy for an invasive ductal carcinoma
with four out of 20 lymph glands positive , it was eostrogen and
progesterone highly positive... his surgeon wants him to see an
oncologist to start chemo and radio therapy... I always thought these
things were poisons!!!
We are very reluctabt to agree until we know a bit more and I was
wondering if there are any other breast cancer sufferers on the group
who would be prepared to tell me something about their experiences,,,
and whether they have made the five year mark with no recurrance on
anything as simple as Budwig and diet?
Rebecca
