You have a crude substance that you will dilute to create homeopathic remedy. Let's say Iron (Ferrum metallicum)

You take this substance 1 drop (unit) and dilute it in 99 drops of water. You have potency 1C (dilution of 100).
Then you take one drop from that new mixture and dilute it in another 99 drop water - you have 2C.
Then you take 1 drop of water from that again to 99 drops of water you have 3 C.
Then you go on until you get into 30C.
You understand??

If we are talking about potencies X or D- water amount is just 9 drops. not 99. So there is some iron in that mixture. You follow? This solution is not as diluted as C solution that is diluted in 99 drops. Right?
Therefore you can potentially get poisoned with undiluted solution ( as I wrote before), especially when you use toxic metals or herbs.?

You don't worry about potency- worry about finding the right remedy.

Potency will be selected by the practitioner, you just hope they do a good job. But with what you know now, it will get easier.
