Natural Grocers sold you foul oil and won't take it back, Ester? That is a bummer. I used Puritan's Pride, primarily because of the price. It was always good, for like 5 or 6 years, and then I got a bad batch. I contacted them and they refunded my money. I also used Piping Rock, and it was fine but had a different taste and was darker in color. I think the Puritans is golden and the P Rock is pressed from the darker seeds, but that is just an observation.

I'm quite bummed that the $20 bottle of flax oil from Natural Grocers is rancid, and I'll have to throw it away.? I tried Piping Rock, and it seemed a bit watered down for some reason, but it tasted plenty fresh.? What sources / brands of flax oil do folks recommend?? It's too expensive to throw away!!!? TIA!
