Hi all, as some might remember around 7 months ago I reported that I was substituting dried white button mushrooms at 15 mg split into the two f/s cc mixtures daily instead of a three monthly Zoladex injection.
After the first 3 months my PSA was 0.7 which was lower than the previous one under Zoladex
I then decided to halve the dose, as in the original trial one of the two with zero readings was on the lower dose ~8mgs daily.
After my second 3 months my PSA was 1.7, still below the 1.9 for my last 3 months on Zoladex but have decided to revert to the 15mg daily dose of dried white button mushrooms.
Going without Zoladex and just on the Budwig Diet resulted in a doubling of PSA every 6 weeks to 24 when I tried it for six months in 2015. It seems that my Pc did not respond well to the Budwig Diet alone during that time, but the other health benefits were well worth it.

Now at age 85 I have no health problems, am not on any medication thanks to Budwig and the mushrooms and have a PSA well under the norm for my age. Considering that in in early 2014 I had a TURP on a prostate that was 70% tumour material; Gleason score 7, that is pretty good.
I hope this will help those who cannot afford the $1300 for each Zoladex or equivalent injections, the dried white button mushrooms have worked for me over six months, twice the period of the original trial.
History
After my first PSA of 79 in 2009 I tried two different anti cancer alternative supplements over three years but my PSA rose to 95 and in 2013 after being on a partial Budwig Diet (still eating fish) I had a bladder shutdown, PSA of 138 and needed catheterisation for six months before I could have a TURP. Then I was on the full Budwig Diet plus Zoladex to reduce the prostate size prior to the procedure in April 2014 . A Nuclear scan in 2013 showed hotspots in the right hip area and most of the left kidney but were not considered definate metastices and a follow up scan a year later showed clear.?
