bananas

I used to mash bananas into my fo/cc mixture to sweeten and make it taste like pudding but then someone
posted on this site that bananas were not part of the protocol so I stopped eating them however..... I recently
got Dr Budwigs book with many recipes which contain bananas.

Sandra, can you please clarify if its ok to put banana in the fo/cc? if not, wonder why it is included in other recipes?
