It should be thoroughly blended. I use a hand held mixer and get good results but I only add honey for taste. If you add fruit you would need a hand held blender. Many of the members of this list use the blender. Be aware that you should use a measuring tablespoon and not a tableware tablespoon. The measuring spoon is 15ml and the tableware size is 10ml.
