Dennis: I have the change gears you gave me. I have never used them in that one part on my lathe I could never get right was the Banjo.
Dan (if its alright with you Dennis) I cna pass on this set. -Bart
PS I also have a more modern Grizzly (is there ever such a thing as just ONE LATHE?) and its change gears work like a dream.
Mostly I use my Dalton as a erzat Rifling jig.

Hi Dan
Dalton hever had a manual or at least any that we have ever found.? Your best bet is South Bend lathe's how to run a lathe and also the Atlas operation manual.? Both are very revallent to the Dalton lathe design. As to gears for threading and different speeds for power feeding they are hard to come by.? Unless anyone?in the group has some extras you?will not find any on the internet.? The gears are 14 1/2 degree?pressure?angle and diametral?pitch is 20. Let us know the serial number and also the Lot number.? PIctures are always welcome. Some of the guys have?had luck making gears by 3D printing ones they needed. ?Also let us know what?gears you do have.? There are 15 gears in the Dalton set of change gears.
