I am using 8.1.6 and I can delete the tx freq if doing one record at a time. But if you do a tx freq delete using the Advanced Modify method it also deletes the tx band.

While experimenting with that I did notice something strange though. If
I delete a frequency and save the record everything is fine. But, when I
put the frequency back in and try to save the recored, the Auxiliary
panel opens with the band field flashing red and I have to re-select
band in the auxiliary panel. The band field in the main QSO panel
remains unchanged.
