I'm not sure how it got pinned, but I unpinned the thread and it is as the rest are now. I receive my posts by email, so I would not know if something got pinned or not unless I paid a visit to the

Re: UV-5R Dual band mod to 220 MHz band
The topic appears to be getting stale, but I'll respond since it's pinned... Since I've recently been on an APRS kick, I ordered a second uv5r for dedicated aprs use. I was able to successfully unlock

Re: Problems loading with the latest CHIRP download
I messed up 2 UV5RA3(w/220) using chirp. The short of it is, you must have the current version of Chirp which requires a Window 10 64 bit machine, and you must use the Radioddity equivalent version to

Re: UV-5RH Issues
I also checked on the group website and there is no image, just a placeholder. /g/Baofeng/message/445 Maybe a link to the page where it's at instead? Donald KX8K

Re: UV-5RH Issues
I did see the whole thread about the prolific driver, but I tried 3 different cables (2 FTDI and a different one that requires no driver) and none of them worked. All of my other radios worked

Re: UV-5RH Issues
Jim I wrestled with my UV-5RA when trying to connect. The Miklor.com site has been good for me. Using the correct driver is my issue and with the Prolific chipset I have to use the 3.2.0.0 driver.

Re: UV-5RH Issues
