Hi Kelly, Do you have more information about Michael Wentz.? I and several others are researching the Wentz family.? Did your Wentz line go to Russia?? Ours did in 1809.? We are trying to establish where they came from in Germany. Thank you, Ellen Schmand ?

My ancestors from Baden-Wurttemberg - the families of Hans WESSINGER (b. between 1601 and 1610)), Abraham WOLFINGER (b.1624)
and Michael WENTZ (b.1597) - were from the town of Birkenfeld. Has anything been written about Birkenfeld (or the whole of Baden-Durlach)
in the period 1575 to 1625??
