When requesting help to find an individual or family there are several
pieces of information that are crucial to finding the correct person or
family.
- The family religion.
- Vital details (exact dates and places), if known
- Others in the family (with vital details) (i.e., Parents, spouse
and/or children)
It is also a help if a public posting of a family tree is available
(i.e., FamilySearch Family Tree or RootsWeb WorldConnect) (Note: Ancestry
and similar family tree collections are not open to the public)
