Family always comes first, George.? Take care of the goods and others - the stars will still be there when things calm down.? We'll let you know if T Corona Borealis or Betelgeuse decide today is their day while you are otherwise engaged!

Re: Rubin Observatory First Look Watch Party

Hello everyone, we signed up to host this event at the NASA Wallops Visitor?Center (if it's one of the days were open to the public) we have a decent auditorium, it is not a planetarium, but we will have the videos on our flat wall if anyone is interested in attending here. I just recently started working here as the event coordinator so I was excited to sign up for this event ? . I know it's kind of a hike, but if you are ever interested in hosting an event here or even just an information table I'd be happy to obliged! Hope to see you here!

Besides, we had numerous telescopes showing everything from the sun to Jupiter, a globular cluster and even a galaxy. It was challenging seeing the globular or the galaxy due to severe light pollution, but people were overwhelmed at everything else they saw.
