Hello everyone, we signed up to host this event at the NASA Wallops Visitor?Center (if it's one of the days were open to the public) we have a decent auditorium, it is not a planetarium, but we will have the videos on our flat wall if anyone is interested in attending here. I just recently started working here as the event coordinator so I was excited to sign up for this event ? . I know it's kind of a hike, but if you are ever interested in hosting an event here or even just an information table I'd be happy to obliged! Hope to see you here!

Certainly looks promising.? Let's see what we can put together, and if a good venue will be available in time...
Has a First Look party been set up for BBAA near VB???
If Chesapeake Planetarium was still operating I wouldn¡¯t need to ask ¨C ?Dr Bob would no doubt already have signed up to get the images and organized the party.

Heard about this? The first amazing and beautiful public images from the incredible new Rubin Observatory are coming soon, and First Look viewing parties are being organized for the initial release.? Exact date is to be determined, but their estimate now is June or July.? Also TBD is how they will manage display of the 3200 megapixel images.
