I have seen that before on a G-11. If you do change the battery be sure to set the date/location information/time immediately or the battery will die again. Cold does no favors for those small batteries. Gemini is weird about that feature. Heck they all are weird.
My battery status indicator on my NEXUS controller is just about useless so I routinely recharge after 5 to 7 hours run time no matter what it says. After charge it will read 100% on start up but next time will go to zero until it approaches 60% and then will subsequently drain to 30% pretty fast. This is the best DSC out there too. Oh and don't let it sit idle at 100% for longer than 2 weeks. Kent and Roy have stories about their NEXUS and what it does when not looking.
