¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hate of any kind is not welcome in our City. Bay Area United Against Hate Week is a call to action action to Bay Area residents to stand up against the rise in hate throughout the country and build inclusion in our communities.
Berkeley and the Bay Area stand united against bigotry, racism, and xenophobia across the world and in our own communities. is a full week of rallies, art events, and discussions to inspire Bay Area residents to take action in their own communities and give them the tools, resources, and support they need to fight intolerance, and the kickoff event is this Sunday, November 11th, 1-4pm, in Civic Center Park
Bay Area elected officials will join community leaders, performance artists and local residents who have been directly affected by the rise of hate in our communities. At 2pm, renowned documentary photographer Ken Light will capture a photo of attendees standing united against hate. We invite as many Bay Area community members as possible to pose for this portrait. Hate will only be stamped out through a community united around peace and respect. Please join us for this important day of art, activism, and unity.
