Is anyone here using the swipe keyboard feature in iOS 13? Anyone having trouble with it?
I use to use Gboard for swipe typing. It was a very nice keyboard. Then I started using the built-in feature. It works well if I don¡¯t swipe too fast. With Gboard, I got pretty good at swipe typing. Could do it pretty fast. With the Apple version, if I swipe fast like using the Gboard version, the Apple version isn¡¯t accurate.
Does anyone know if the Apple version learns over time how one swipes?

Maybe I don't swipe as fast as you do but I have had no problems. I find it very accurate.

I have tried swiping and find it slower than typing. I haven¡¯t used it enough to know if it learns over time.

The swipe keyboard works fine on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I am having other issues with IOS 13. I don¡¯t have the time at the moment to to put in a couple of hours on the phone with AppleCare to address the issues. However, swipe keyboard is the bomb!

It took me a little bit to learn and get use to swipe. Once I do¡¯s, I find I swipe on my phone faster than I can type.
I think it does learn your swipe habits over time.

Hi Alice - I have never used a Swipe keyboard before. I just started with iOS 13. I am amazed how fast it is. And how it knows large words when I am fumbling around the keyboard. I make mistakes and it has some errors but much less than touch. I really like it.

Hi Sue, Before iOS 13, I used GBoard. It used swipe and it would put a space between each word. At the time, I had tried swype keyboard. It didn¡¯t put a space between words. Since then it¡¯s was upgraded and now puts spaces between words. I don¡¯t need to use it now that Apple has its own swipe.
Anyone with an iPad try to use swipe? I¡¯m on PadOS 13 and I don¡¯t get swipe. I use GBoard on it.

Hi Alice - interesting about the spaces. I did try the swipe option on my iPad Pro. It doesn¡¯t work when the key pad is in large mode but when I reduce its size swipe is just like on the iPhone.
