For many years I have used itunes to sync my iphones with my Windows computers. Currently a completely updated iphone 11 (ios 17.5.1) syncs with itunes updated to v. 12.13.2.3.
I added new photos to the iPhone files folder on my Windows 11 64 bit PC and synced as usual. The new photos did not sync, and I checked all the settings which are absolutely correct. Reboots of both PC and phone made no difference. However, I noticed that the usual message to enter the phone's PIN was very late in coming, and the message to authorise access to photos appeared minutes after the backup and sync had completed. That is ridiculous. This is a pretty fast PC working much as usual. I have checked everything - as I said I am a long way from being a newbie.?
Can anyone offer advice please, or has anyone else experienced this
