I know it’s a small thing, but whenever I unlock my phone, Messages go to All rather than just Known that I always set it for. Not fun these political weeks.

I agree, and I've read several comments that also agree. Some offer advice about how to get it back closer to what we were used to.

I know it’s early in the game, but how are you all liking the new iOS? ?Would it be confusing to a non-tech savvy user? ?I’m thinking of my DH who frustrates easily with technology.

iOS 17.6.1 was releases a couple of weeks ago. iOS 17.7 has not popped yet as available on my iPhone XR, but is available. Before installing it, accepting a new Apple Media Terms & Conditions is required.

Yet, you are asking about iOS 18. If it is in Beta, then talk to Apple.

I have never used Apple Music. ?I have all my music arranged by playlists on my Mac and sync my iPhone with my iMac to get music on my iPhone. ?When I go to Apple Music I get a [Try it Free, for 3 months]. ?I am truly 100% not interested in Apple Music and would prefer not taking them up on their offer.

There just has to be another way and if no one comes up with an answer, I’ll call the Apple help line.
