Go to Aliexpress and search for CJ0618.

Re: 7x12 Motor Won't Turn On

I have use them one time and they are great. They lot of little things that are hard to find.?
Ebay is like old west and try to avoid Ebay but have will throw dice ?.?

Remember they not like Amazon and Walmart on shipping.
? So I have few things plan to buy after I have larger order?

All,?

Thanks for all the suggestions.

The flywheel has 4 big holes so I will drill the holes out and mount it on my 4 jaw scroll chuck as suggested by davesmith1800.
Hopefully I can get it turned on my 7x12, if not then I will have to find a bigger lathe.
I think I bit off more than I can chew with this project, my X2 mill is also too small for some of the parts and they have to be done half way then removed and turned.
Anyway it's all in a days fun.
Thanks again.

I have made wooden fixtures using "T" nuts and a center spud to mount stuff to a face plate.

ya could pull the motor & hook a volt meter to the leads & spin it with a drill & see if ya get any voltage out . I'd try to see if it spins with a tool battery first .

Replaced fuse.? Motor still won't turn on - new fuse didn't blow.

If anything is “blown” it is most likely one of the MOSFETs on the motor controller PCB and not the motor. ? It costs about a buck to replace if you can DIY, or more like $100 to have someone do it for you. ? So it might be work reading up and learning to diagnose this.

The first test I would do is to disconnect the motor and see if there is power coming out of the driver board. ?For that, you should replace the motor with some kind of dummy load and measure the voltage. ?If the power seems good, the motor is bad, but if the power is not good, it is one of the output transistors. ? They are cheap but you have to know what you are doing

There are a few other parts that can blow as a result of the fuse or mosfet blowing. ??

Or if you are EXCEPTIONALLY lucky, a loose connection.
