PDF files contain images and text, most of the time. Unlike most image files.?
Best reason to use PDF files right there. :)

actually a .PDF is an image file.
If you have a .pdf why do you need a image.?
Just put it somewhere on the web and do a link to it.
.PDF readers are free.
