Suspicious activity

Good morning neighbors,
I was up walking one of our neighbors dogs around 9:30ish and ran into two boys who are probably about 10 and 11 years old.
Heading south on our sidewalk, one was with cellphone. I was coming out of Gessford court when I ran into them. I abruptly stopped to see what they were up to. Realizing that, they stopped and the little one went towards Gessford. The older turned looked at me and asked why I was watching him. Told them its late and they should be home. They started cursing at me for looking out for them and told me don't go calling the cops on us. Since my husband is away for work, I knocked on Paxton and Serah's door. Which Paxton took that seriously and started following them. And I'm sorry Paxton for the disrespect you got from them as well. It maybe nothing but with so much crime going on lately in our beautiful village, it's something worth looking out for.

Yeah, Sara and I had just gotten home when this went down. ?Basically, me following them spooked 'em enough that they rolled out of the neighborhood. ?Last I saw they were crossing into that park area where the year round xmas tree is at 8th and Pennsylvania. ?

Elizabeth asked if she should call the cops and I told her not to because they were long gone and won't be back at least last night. ?So...yeah, for what it's worth they got chased out. ?They might be back and I guess just handle the situation as you see fit.

As far as the disrespect to Elizabeth goes, it's sad that the kids have no regard or respect for adults and that pissed me off. ?The disrespect towards me....well, I feel like I'm a big ass kid anyway so when they were cussin' at me it didn't bother me that much. ?I been called worse than a "racist m-f" and a "punk a** b****" ?by older people so I didn't really care. ?As long as they were yelling it as they bounced out of the neighborhood
