To our customers, we have been closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Isaias as heavy rain and high winds are projected to move to our Pepco service area. In preparation of Tropical Storm Isaias, our employees and local contractors have inspected equipment, reviewed procedures and assembled staffing plans with additional customer care representatives available to ensure 24/7 support in response to potential impacts from the storm. In addition to internal line mechanics and other field workers, Pepco has local overhead line contractors and tree-trimming personnel available to assist in any restoration effort.
