A Winter Weather Advisory Has Been Issued for the National Capitol Region


Key Points
  • A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 10 AM Saturday to 7 AM EST Sunday for the National Capitol Region
  • Freezing rain will mix with sleet at times resulting in:
    • Storm total ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch in Montgomery and Loudoun Counties
    • Storm total ice accumulation one tenth to two tenths of an inch in the District of Columbia, Prince George's, Fairfax, and Prince William Counties and the cities of Fall Church, Manassas, Manassas Park, Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria.
  • Please prepare for difficult travel conditions and possible power outages.?
