COVID-19 Vaccine
This morning, there were technical issues with the vaccinate.dc.gov portal that affected those trying to make an appointment online as well as through the call center.
Those technical issues have now been resolved and the portal is now working.
We understand the frustration this caused for those who are trying to make an appointment, and we appreciate your patience as we work to get Washingtonians across all eight wards vaccinated.
Appointments are now available for District residents who are 65 years of age and older and/or health care workers and who live in Wards 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. You can register for an appointment at vaccinate.dc.gov or by calling the District¡¯s hotline at 855-363-0333, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.
On Monday, January 18, at 9:00 a.m., an additional 1,436 appointments will become available to any DC resident who is 65 and older or any individual who works in a health care setting in DC.
If you previously attempted to get an appointment and you did not receive a notification with a confirmation code, date and location, you must re-register. Demand for the vaccine is high, and we anticipate longer than usual waits through the Call Center. Sent from my iPhone Get important updates on the 59th Presidential Inauguration from DC Government.
