Re: First SY
Ian according to the last Rotala allocation update on Tony Hunter's website, no less than 22 E400s (and two of the four remaining B9TL/Wright) were returned to First recently. The five E400s you report going to Doncaster are some of these - are FSY expecting the other 17 E400s too? /adam On Mon, 20 Apr 2020 at 14:23, ian@yorkshirebus via <yorkshirebus=[email protected]> wrote:

Stagecoach East Midlands - Gainsborough depot
Hi all For info - SEM have closed their Gainsborough depot for the duration of the Coronavirus outbreak. Some of the Gainsborough allocation has transferred to neighbouring depots along with some of the work - Scunthorpe and Lincoln depot are covering the InterConnect 100 (Scunthorpe - Gainsborough - Lincoln) and Worksop depot are covering the Retford - Gainsborough and Retford - Doncaster workings. Re: Transdev win Airport routes
Will Transdev still start these services considering the situation at the moment? Also I've heard the some bus body builders have gone on lockdown which will obviously delay any deliveries so even if Transdev do start these Airport routes on time it might look like they will have to temporarly higher in vehicles from somewhere until their vehicles are built/delivered which if bodybuilders are on lockdown could take time. Stagecoach Yorkshire 06/04
There is to be a further reduction in services from Wednesday to meet the current (lack of) demand owing to Coronavirus.?
Those services currently running will be reduced largely to an hourly operation, with a few exceptions (those services already running a lower frequency will remain so, the 52/88/120 in Sheffield will be largely at a 30 minute frequency, and the X10 is reduced to 5 round trips per day).? Services X1 (Chesterfield- Nottingham) and X6 (Sheffield- Doncaster/Sheffield Airport) are withdrawn until further notice.? Ian |

Whether we like the livery or not its here to stay. You would think that if some of the older "trusted and recognisable" brands would be applied in a variation of the new livery.? The more you think of the new livery to worse the roll out really is! On Thu, 2 Apr 2020, 12:04 ian@yorkshirebus via , <yorkshirebus=[email protected]> wrote:

?
First up, recent repaints in to the new Stagecoach livery are Scania/E400s 15824/5 (YN12 GYO/P) and E200 36183 (YN60 FKU).? Currently in for painting is E200MMC 26030 (YX65 RBZ).
?
The recorded allocation changes for the 4 weeks ending 28th March 2020 (Period 12) were as follows:
?
22627 YN08 JHH RH to CD
22629 YN08 JFJ RH to CD 35262 YN56 SHJ CD to BY * 36071 SN56 AYF BY to CD 36986 SN63 YPJ CD to RH 36989 SN63 YPM CD to RH 36990 SN63 YPO CD to RH ?
* 35262 has yet to physically move from Chesterfield, and is unlikely to do so now for some time due to the current circumstances
?
Obviously since the end of the reporting period a large number of vehicles have been parked up and SORN as operations move to a permanent Sunday service (with a few enhancements) for the foreseeable future.
?
The following lists are the vehicles currently operational.? Everything else is parked up:
?
Barnsley (PVR reduced from 72 to 36): 10656-62, 15661-4/6, 19559, 22632/6/8, 26020-2/85-7, 27187/8/206, 28671-4, 36178/80/83, 37108/45, 37451-6, 47723/4/6/7.

?
And lets not get started on what is "long distance" and what is "local".
?
Add to that, the livery has changed, twice, since it was launched and is not being applied consistantly across all companies, so will look great when buses start moving around.

Pure amateur.

?
It's correct as far as I know.? I can't remember?the exact wording but local operating companies have been told that 'trusted and recognisable brands' (or words to that effect) can continue.? So, round this neck of the woods I'd class Pronto, InterConnect, the Seasiders and possibly the Humber Flyer and Humber FastCat under that banner.? Nationally there's others of course (Lakes, Cambridgeshire Busway being the obvious ones) and of course some where the livery is mandated as part of the contract (Chester Park & Ride for example).
?
Gold is a good question - is it a specific brand (not specific to a route, no in the sense that Pronto etc are route-specific) but is it a brand.... I'd say probably yes.
?
But as Paul has said all along, far from clear or concise!

I'm told the operational fleets following the Coronavirus reductions are as follows: DONCASTER: 37103-9/14-7/9, 37230-7/62/493/529, 44925-7, 47482-90, 63026/8-30/3/5,? 63129-45 OLIVE GROVE: 33705/14/17/20/25/55, 33858-72, 35126/38, 35309-21, 36244/50, 47466/7/72, 63001-11/16-9/22/26/27/37/39, 63122/3, 63369/71/87, 63903-12, 67141-4/8/50. Obviously subject to change depending how long the current situation lasts. Ian |
Re: Stagecoach Yorkshire 20/02
Hi Chris It's correct as far as I know.? I can't remember?the exact wording but local operating companies have been told that 'trusted and recognisable brands' (or words to that effect) can continue.? So, round this neck of the woods I'd class Pronto, InterConnect, the Seasiders and possibly the Humber Flyer and Humber FastCat under that banner.? Nationally there's others of course (Lakes, Cambridgeshire Busway being the obvious ones) and of course some where the livery is mandated as part of the contract (Chester Park & Ride for example). Gold is a good question - is it a specific brand (not specific to a route, no in the sense that Pronto etc are route-specific) but is it a brand.... I'd say probably yes. But as Paul has said all along, far from clear or concise! Ian On Wed, Apr 1, 2020 at 8:39 AM Chris Maxfield via Groups.Io <maltabus=[email protected]> wrote:
