Re: West Yorkshire Franchised Network

Hi all

Confirmed as "The Weaver Network".

Full corporate blurb here

Image of the proposed livery here

Just my humble opinion... naff name, and that livery, particularly the complex graphics on the lower panels, is totally unworkable in practice.

Re: Arriva Yorkshire - "new" vehicles

No, it's become 2010.

The additional E200MMC is YX18 KNF, latterly with Weardale, which becomes 1088.

West Yorkshire Franchised Network

Will apparently be known as "The Weaver Network", presumably in a nod to the regions textiles past.

Not the most catchy of names...

Is this one to get the fleetnumber allocated to the one that has returned to Leicester?

Cheers Adam

There's also another E200MMC for the Yorkshire fleet but I can't find the bit of paper I scribbled the reg down on!

J16 - SW64 XAR (E200)
J18 - YJ09 MHN (Solo)
J30 - MX09 AOF (Solo)
J31 - YJ09 OTH (Solo)

Hi Jeff

High Peak have now withdrawn their 170 registration without it ever starting.

For the record, Stagecoach are using deckers on the 170 today and an E300 on the 63.

Stringer, Pontefract (WY)

Noted poking out of their workshop earlier was RK25 ZKA, some form of Iveco minibus.

Re: Hulleys of Baslow. Going, going...

It appears Hulleys demise has now completed, a day earlier than anticipated.

All buses returned to Baslow within the last hour or so upon news that there was no money left to pay staff for their work today or tomorrow.

A local recovery contractor is also blocking access to/from the depot with their wreckers until they are paid monies they claim they are owed.

A sad end for this once great operator.
