An interesting blog by Roger French for those interested on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence assisted development of timetables being rolled out nationally by First.



Personally, whilst I understand the need for operators to run reliable services with realistic timetables, I fear this is taking precedent over the need to deliver user friendly timetables. Some of the (in my opinion) silly schedules being implemented such as those described in the above blog are only going to drive people away from using those services.
