Re: Gaming Garage in Gardner

You ain't kidding, I have wooden covers for my 2 gaming tables but have not needed them in years but sure need them now!

They are loving critters and I know they did not intend any harm but stuff happens with kittens around.

Last pair of small ones in my life at 66 so I'm enjoying the chaos (for the most part).

Take care and be safe and well, Vic.

And to all y'all in New England, this fella in Nova Scotia will one day again be down for a Gaming Garage weekend chez Chuck. I'll have been fully vaccinated (and almost house broken) by 8 June. They are doing a rush on Canadian Armed Forces members.? Once those vaccine numbers get to a critical mass and the borders open, I'm taking full advantage of my EZ Pass and heading on down to Gardiner.

Until then, it's VASL all the way :)

Re: errata for Rat Charts 3rd ed

I know all too well how tough it is to proofread anything ASL to try and make it 100% but it seems something always slips through, MMP, TPPs and me included and I have several people, including myself, scour the newsletter from front to back. Still stuff leaks through as hard as we try not to let it go out that way. I feel Xavier's pain, finding dedicated proofers who really get into it is not so easy, good luck with future publications, Vic.

Thanks for the invite Chuck, but I'll have to pass on this one.

Hey folks?

I’ve restarted gaming garage meetings the last Saturday of each month. The next meeting is?5/29 starting around 930am?and going until the last dice are rolled!

I’ve got room to host about 24-26 comfortably. ?We play ASL as well as other war games. ??Please email me directly if you’d like to attend and I’ll be sure to hold a spot and help do match ups as well. ?

As promised, here is a Geeklist to help select games to be played and find opponents for Gaming Garage on May 29th!

I have utilized Facebook Events to manage most of the folks I invite.? However, I'm ending up with a cadre of ASL guys from other areas so that's becoming a pain to manage.

Ultimately, what I think I'll do is create a BGG Geeklist each month which can do exactly what you're describing and it's a platform everyone uses.

So, stay tuned for that!

Chuck,

Great news!

Any thoughts on listing the games that are happening?? For example, I am not much of an ASL player, but do occasionally play ASLSK when Joe wants to test a scenario.

For example, if someone is looking for a Civ, Diplomacy, Axis and Allies or Junta game that needs 5 or 7 people, it would be good to know.? Heck, even Mystery Date where we substitute the names of the regular bunker players for the dream dates.

It has been a long time, so I need to see what games my wife has sold yet.

Regards,

Cole
