Such gorgeous colors!? Loved the site.

Mary.

Yes, mushroom dyeing is something I've become very interested in. My challenges are a) I know nothing about mushrooms so I had to start with basic identification instructions, and b) dyeing mushrooms aren't the same as edible mushrooms even though there is some overlap. So the local mushroom club isn't very helpful because they forage for edible mushrooms. Also, dyeing mushrooms are mostly all wild. I think lobster mushrooms dye a beautiful coral and are available?to purchase but they are an exception.? Wild mushrooms also vary by geography. I think this is a multi-year journey for me as opposed to dyeing with other natural dyes.?

I now belong to a couple of mushroom FB groups ¥Ä

I too have dabbled in mushroom dyeing, done a little myself and took a good class. Connie, if you came across that site, you probably already know about this, but just in case you or Jaya is interested - international symposium, a full week long, coming up in October 2022 in Port Townsend, Washington. I think it would be really fun to go to but I'm sure I won't pull it off. Info here:?

I've been thinking about that, Th¨¦r¨¨se but I'm not sure whether I'll go or not. It seems too difficult to plan so far ahead these?days.
