In Buddhism it is believed that the spirit of the deceased stays in an “in-between” state for 49 days after the departure of the spirit from the physical body (the day of death is counted as day #1).? On the 49th day the spirit journeys to a place in the spiritual realm where it will abide for some time.? People associated with the deceased gather on the 49th Day to support this time of transition, that the spirit of the deceased may go to a place of peace.? People of any background are warmly welcome to bring their good thoughts and intentions for Andy Larkin’s spirit. At one point in the Ceremony all attendees will be invited to offer incense for Andy. All welcome to this service which is an opportunity to show our appreciation for Andrew Larkin’s life, and put our hearts and minds together for a peaceful journey for his spirit in the spiritual world.
