Hi, fellow scullers,
There will be a full moon this weekend--the Hunter's Moon--and I'm writing to see if there's any interest in coming together for a full moon row on Sunday evening. At the moment the weather does not look too bad--55 degrees and 7-4 mph wind. The sky will be "partly cloudy/mostly sunny." Moon rise is 6:27pm so maybe we meet at the boathouse at 5pm to launch around 5:30-5:45. I have never done this before, so those times will probably be adjusted when I consult those who are experienced in full moon rowing.
Just so you don't think I'm going rogue with this idea, I did consult the board and they suggested I reach out to the membership to see what kind of interest there is in doing this. And, of course, if the weather gets nasty the plan will have to be canceled. For now, I'm just interested in hearing from those who want to do this and can do this if it happens.
with thanks, Nancy (Diessner)

You can Count me in as a “definite maybe“! And as we don’t have reservations for boats in the evening, I would like to informally reserve #13!

?I too am a definite maybe. For me, it will depend on the wind.? ? Hi, fellow scullers, There will be a full moon this weekend--the Hunter's Moon--and I'm writing to see if there's any interest in coming together for a full moon row on Sunday evening.
