How about if you push and latch the gray EXP WAH button on the left lower control panel, does it still do nothing?
I would say you found the part of the circuit with the issue. When you plug in the FC7 into the Foot Controller jack, it should automatically take over control of the overall volume.

I bought an FC7 pedal, but it doesn't seem to work with my CS-80 (or there's another issue somewhere), there's no discernible difference when pedaling.
I did try checking if the relative offset is the same when rotating the volume main, and the answer is yes. I guess this means the PRA-board is the issue?
Reboot Paris, I did check the service manual, but didn't find any mention of this issue. But perhaps the next step is to find someone locally to help me check and calibrate the values indicated in the manual. Or learn to do it myself (won't experiment on the CS-80 though, she's too valuable and fragile).
