Configuration and Alternate Profile

I have a Home and Mobile profile with different settings on my portable TNCPi with display unit.? For my mobile profile I created a Mobile beacon configuration which I saved.? I was hoping that when I re-opend the Mobile profile the Beacon would be set to Mobile but it is back to default.? Is there a way to keep a specific beacon configuration associated with a profile so that I don't have to go in and select it?? 1.0-beta 196

Were you using the -profile command-line option to specify different configuration profiles? If so, you have to specify the option every time you want to use a non-default profile, otherwise YAAC will use the unnamed default profile.

Also, within a profile, you will always have the default beacon, and it appears first in the list of beacons defined for a profile. Click on the drop-down of beacon names, and you will see any other named beacons you have saved in that profile.

Hope this helps.

Andrew,

Yes the profile is specified using the -profile command and it has been working fine.? Is the default beacon unique to a specific profile's configuration, or if I change the default beacon will it also affect the default beacon in other profiles?

The default beacon is per-profile, so if you change profiles, you will get a different default beacon.
