The column works! I regularly play Dungeons & Dragons with a friend whose wife is from a family that went to Waldorfschools for generations. Now my friend's children also go there. He himself is of the opinion that Rudolf Steiner was problematic, but the Waldorfschool is good for his children. We often have interesting conversations.

However, the last time I saw him he suddenly told me about Lea's column, which he happened to read. He was very affected by the part about the "herb garden" in Dachau. He wasn't really surprised about it, because we live in Germany. The Nazi past is everywhere here, even if we no longer see it today. But on the other hand, my friend hadn't expected this. He told me, he had always been told that anthroposophy was throughout against the Nazis.

Yes! I had neighbours ask me wether we still use Weleda products, Dorchester stopped immediately after reading Leas Column. It¡¯s really important work you do there, Lea!

Hi all,
?
a late addition to this thread.
?
this news about Weleda¡¯s past clearly did not reach Holland yet. I visited the museum for Natural Sciences (Naturalis) in the city of Leiden recently. A wonderful museum and genuine temple of science (look it up for pictures!): they have a specimen of the world¡¯s first cloned bull for example.
?
But in the museum¡¯s shop there is an entire wall dedicated to Weleda products. It¡¯s the only company that has such visibility in the entire shop. Very strange. I wonder how Weleda managed to pull this off in a place dedicated to scientifical thinking.
?
Maybe I should send them some info.
?
Greetings, Kokanje

Hi,
?
And so I did¡
Lea, I included the link to your opinion piece in TAZ, to good effect.
¡°The cooperation with Weleda will soon be terminated¡±, was the response I got from the museum. I didn¡¯t get a specific reason for this termination, but my guess is that they got more than one complaint.
?
Greetings,
?
