Win7 Rocky saga ENDs

? Well I gave up on the Delta 44 ever running reliably at 96Khz for my SoftRock/K3 panadapter. I pressed my USB X-Fi Model SB1090 sound card into service and I am VERY pleased with the results. So much that I bought a second 1090 off ebay to use with the stand-alone 2meter panadapter. A few "hick-ups" when I run two - of the 1090s at the same time, but so far it just looks like I need to be being careful of the order in which the 2 Rockys are started.

? I modified the first 1090 (larger caps in two locations) but found that the signal levels were high enough in the panadaper use, that the mod was not needed. Just hanging a Softrock receiver/transceiver on a 1090 for HF use, I suspect the levels would be such that the mod might be worth exploring. For HF work with the 6.2 or Ensemble .. I will use the D44 at 48Khz.

? Thanks for those that have attempted to assist me in the transition to Win7 with Rocky. (Still the best SDR program IMHO)

I don't know it this will help but I run Win 7 64bit at 96khz. This issue was covered in the SVIEIA group
you can't run the current driver it only supports 48khz? Go to the Dell site and find 5.10.0.5074
this is what I use.
