Not an ICOM 7300 but many years ago I added a connection for a PCR100 radio by ICOM, tapping into the 10.7MHz IF, I used thincoax an a small board with a FET buffer so the radio not be affected by the capacitance of the coax, it worked well. I added that option so I could have a bandscope and have CW and SSB reception capability.

I recently found the radio and willhave up and running soon, I used it before to listen to local utilities/airport traffic, and ham 2M and 70CM repeaters.

I have an Icom 7300 and I want to use an ensemble with HDSDR to use a PC
as a panadaptor and control for the 7300. Has anyone done that here? If so
details would be appreciated.

Looks like some mods need to be done for the IF out?

Otherwise the simpler way of using it for HF is to just link the two
