Re: Desoldering
Thanks, Tony I hadn't though of that. That would be a lot easier. It's a small blue leaded cap labeled 104K X7R100. It looks like 0.1 inch lead spacing. Bill Dumke WB5TCO 509 15th Ave Green Bay, WI

Re: question
If you mean phase 2, that's what I get and I think that's about what it should be. No display means lack of stereo input into the computer. 73 - Mike WA8BXN

Re: Interference from PC?
Rein, When I operate on the low bands (40M thru 160M) I have to turn off my PC's. In fact I sometimes have had to unplug them completely, as the power supply isn't completely off when the On/Off

Re: New file uploaded to softrock40
...................... I am not too sure about that, from what I read, the mixer ports have to be terminated into 50 ohms. Usually there is a diplexer at the IF port which "shorts" the other

Re: Rocky 1.1 released - new features
Alex, Just tried out 1.1 with the PowerSDR wav files. Now it works great. No feedback. Got all the surface mount stuff soldered to the SoftRock 40 board. Now I have to get the rest on, and then I will

Re: Is the UBS-External Sound Card Works?
Hi,Bruce, Thanks for information. Ext. SB will be okay also here with confidence! I'm waiting for that. So I have nothing to do about softrock this weekend. I will modify PIC-EL and DDS-Daughtercard

Re: New file uploaded to softrock40
Bob, That is the BIG problem of using a diode mixer. They are lossy. They are cheap and dirty, but for IM, intermodulation, performance they are not as good as a well designed active transistor mixer,
