I was hoping someone else with more experience than I would jump in and try to help you.

Without 'looking over your shoulder while your trying to do this', I am running out of ideas to try.

But having said that,

I am assuming your running windows?
I further assume that when you jumped back to 8.5.2 that you diligently went through the setup ulp to verify that all your settings are correct and also that in Eagle control panel, all directories are properly setup?

If all these things have been done, the only other possibility is that your "eaglerc.usr" file in

C:\user\"whatever user name you have setup"\AppData\Roaming\Cadsoft\Eagle

may be corrupted. Possibly you can back that file up in some place and then try setting up Eagle again from scratch and see if that fixes you problems.? This is only a guess on my part, but the last thing I can think of.

Sorry to bother you again but a issue with Eagle 9.6.2 that I am using now does not let me doing milling on layer 46.
I'm trying to do some adjustments on my panel (no text included) and after run pcbgcode setup the result is always a empty text file only and no etch file at all.?
I tried to make a new one drawing but with same result. It seems that the text option is locked anywhere.?

Jose,
Don't worry about your English, your doing fine. Its a lot better than my Portuguese!

If your elements are near the edge and not showing up, try moving them in a bit or change your Design Rules:


You may have it set to not allow elements that close to the edge.

Just an idea and we will get this settled.

Thanks again you help me a lot, I'm a basic level user of Eagle that is a freeware version and pcbgcode too but I follow your tips and my panel is almost running even with a small issue because I see all elements of my draw while running gcode but when I see the results some elements near the edge don't appear.?
