Display Question 3
I have seen a few photos of desktops showing the node-red dashboard in a rectangular shape along side SmartSDR¡¯s display of the radio. How is this accomplished? My node-red service is on a Raspberry Pi accessed by Safari. That also eats up desktop real estate. 73, Marty WD9GYM

Error running FRStack using wiki procedure 13
I am new to Nodered and FRStack. I followed the procedure on the Wiki to install and ran into an issue with the FRStack WebAPI. I am using the procedure here: /g/nodered-hamradio/wiki/22502 I did the steps to download and unzip FRStack. I verified each step worked. Install FRStack WebAPI on RPi sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/frstack cd /usr/local/frstack sudo wget http://www.mkcmsoftware.com/download/FRStackWebApiRpi.zip sudo unzip FRStackWebApiRpi Run FRStack WebAPI from commandline dotnet FRStackWebApi.dll --urls "http://*:5025" When I enter the botnet command, I receive the following error: pi@nodered:/usr/local/frstack$ dotnet FRStackWebApi.dll --urls "http://*:5025" -bash: /usr/bin/dotnet: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error Has anyone run into that? Thanks, Tom NY4I

Node Red - more info -- Flex Community
Hi All We are now over 150 members. Originally, this group was started by some Flex operators to leverage some of the features of the Flex 6000 series radios. When the Flex Community had to be shut down as the provider was going out of business, Flex had to scramble to set up a new one (not trivial and not inexpensive). Before I started this group, we had a LONG chat going on on our community pages here: https://community.flexradio.com/discussion/7859294/remote-operating-and-node-red/p1 It is just another place to look if you need some more information. 73 all and thanks for joining us. 8 relays - no soldering 16
Hi All I wanted to share the devices at Sequent Microsystems. They can give you an RPI with 8 SPDT relays rated at 10A for 120V, which is really good. https://sequentmicrosystems.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=50 And, yes, you can control these with NodeRed. Very slick. You can never have too many dry contact relays. Mike va3mw [image: image.png]

Another Idea HRD DB Query 5
Has anyone consider a database query for HRD? In working 6M, I want to check if I need a grid number quickly. I know I can do this with HRD, but it isn't a simple operation. Mike va3mw

Pi4 on its way. 7
Ok, elmers. My Pi4 (8GB) is on its way this week. Is Alan's image still the latest image with FRStacks or is there another version with the latest flows (wsjtx lister i.e)? Or shall I add flows individually? Old Pi3, will be used to monitor electricity among other things. Does anybody know any UPS and power strips that can be used with node red To monitor consumption within a reasonable budget? File /WSJT QSO Listener.json uploaded 9 #file-notice
The following files have been uploaded to the Files area of the [email protected] group. /WSJT QSO Listener.json By: Alan Blind Description: WSJT-X has a UDP Server that sends out a UDP broadcast containing data on the currently selected QSO and a stream of decoded messages. I built a Node-Red flow to receive the WSJT-X QSO UDP broadcasts and provide three outputs: 1- List of stations calling CQ, 2- Selected QSO - Call Sign, and 3 - Selected QSO - Grid Square. The UDP data string is of variable length, so the user must enter their six-digit Grid Square (i.e. "EN61SW"), where indicated, to get a proper parse of the data. I used the standard WSJT-X port numbers, but if you are not using the same, you need to add your port number to the UDP listener node.

Appreciation
I wish to take this moment to give thanks to Alan (WA9WUD) who with patience spent over 1 hour with me on the phone, on his Saturday morning helping me recover from disaster (lost 3 SD Cards, al my Flows, and a Pi4 I haven't been able to boot). We managed to start a new card from scratch, installing Node Red, nodes, flows, FRStack et all. Now I've gotten back my flows with the Pi3 and gained remote control again. Also to Dave (WO2X) who did the same couple of months back, even though I thanked him at the moment, I wanted to reiterate it again. Now, I'm copying my image and safeguarding it in a couple of safe places. Now that I got the Pi3 back on track and got control of my station, I have more time to troubleshoot the Pi4. Thanks guys for the help. Really appreciate. 73, Santiago ______________ 73 de Santiago HI8SMX - KB8SMX web: www.hi8smx.online YouTube: HI8SMX Twitter: @hi8smx Instagram: hi8smx
