Unable to control SPE amplifier on/off status

Good day, all. I have been running the latest SPE flows for some time now with no problems accessing the dasnboard from my iPhone and controlling all the parameters of the SPE..? Now I find I can no longer put the amplifier in the Off condition.? The flows are behaving correctly.? However if I try to put the amplifier in the OFF condition, I get this message "Can't switch off: Power held by remote".? I expect this message when node red is running.? However, if I shut down my Pi running node red, the condition does not change.? I connected the SPE to my PC via the USB connection and run Term1.3K.? All functions work except I can not turn the amplifier OFF.? I get the same message as before.
I did a general restore to default settings and nothing changed.? It appears that the internal SPE power logic is locked up.? The only way I can shut the amplifier off is to physically disconnect the main power.? When I re-apply main power, the amplifier goes straight to the ON condition.
Has anyone run into this problem.

I¡¯d suggest opening a help desk ticket with SPE since the terminal program does the same thing.?

One thing you can try to do is reload the latest firmware. I helped a friend with a KPA1500 yesterday that the amp could not communicate with the radio. Internal memory in amp got corrupted. We reloaded firmware and reset amp and it started working.?

There is nothing connected to the REMOTE pins ?
My 15 pin connector has remote pins . 12 volts applied to those pin turns on/off the amp .
If 12volt is still applied the software will not shut down the amp .
Just my 10 cent opinion. Inflation from 2cents .

Thanks all for your posts.? I discovered that the Remote ON switch built into the shell of the Flex CAT cable to the SPE had been moved to the active position.? Once I re-positioned the switch, everything now works correctly.

Many thanks again for your suggestions.
