Tuner Genius Auto Tune video

开云体育

Hi all,

Alan, WA9WUD and I have been working on his tuner sweep flow. It is integrated with my FlexRadio and TG XL flows. This demonstrates how you can use the flow to program the Tuner Genius memories easily. The flow has defaults for number of memories per band. You can change the number of memories to fit your needs.?

You can also set the start and end frequency and change number of tune memories (steps).

The resultant graph has a bar above the frequency for each memory tune point. It is blue to indicate tuner in circuit, green for tuner bypassed, and red for SWR above 2.0:1.

The zip package has the updated FlexRadio and Tuner Genius flows as well as the tuner sweep flow which I modified to work with the Flex and TG XL flows.

A special Thanks to Alan, WA9WUD who did a lot of the “heavy lifting” with the design of the flow.

Have fun!

Dave:

Your video is very informative.

In Dave's video, he shows the Tuner Sweeping and Learning a band.?

By placing your Tuner Genius in "Bypass", and running a scan, you will see the antenna's SWR sweep, with no tuner. ?This would be helpful to find the frequency ranges you may elect to have the Tuner Genius automatically bypass. ?Here is a scan of my G5RV on 40 meters, Tuner Genius in "Bypass".

Correct. And when entering the bypass start and stop frequencies in the Tuner Genius app under Device Settings/Other/Band Settings, don’t forget to enter the frequencies in kHz.

Sent from my waxed string and tin cans.?

I already have a video on YouTube in setting up the Tuner Genius. It covers setting the bypass segment. It is on my YouTube and Flex Radio’s YouTube channels.?
