I have imported WO2X's AG 2x8 flow. Why this one ? Because I have previously implemented the N1MM-to-AG functionality using VB.Net, so I have an idea on how the Node Red flow ought to work. I changed the port numbers and IP addresses to match my configuration. I deploy the flow, and it does something as I change bands (but not correctly switching the AG). The simple thing I don't know how to do is display this flow's UI so I might be able to see what is going on.

Hi Dave,

?

Welcome aboard!

?

I am doing a 1 hour Zoom presentation tomorrow night on exactly what you are asking. I am going to load a new Raspberry Pi 4 following the WiKi before the presentation then go through the steps to load necessary nodes, Flex Radio flows, and show how to access and customize the dashboard.

?

The Zoom meeting will be at 01:00 GMT (UTC) Thursday, which is 8 p.m. Eastern US Wednesday.

I know it is late for you so I will be recording the presentation and get it uploaded to YouTube.

+1 from me please!
I'd really like to see some basic integration with a Flex from scratch.
I'm a total noob when it comes to programming so haven't got a clue how to interrogate the Flex with Node Red, though I do have it installed on a Pi4 8Gb and managed to get it to boot and shut down using Alexa via a relay board to the rear Rem On port

Cheers,

Re: Help with Modified MKCM SPE Amp.json

Success!

And success using the USB cable!

The secret sauce was making sure that the "SPEComPort" setting had the complete device path! I don't know why that was so difficult, but thanks for everyone who helped.

Now it's time to see if I can get fancy!

Re: Array Solutions Stack Match ?

Alan,

Wow!? That's going above and beyond!? I have only taken a quick look at it, and only see a minor issue.? It appears that once the AUX is turned on (Green) that there is no way to turn it off.? Granted, I'm only playing with it via the dashboard (and I'm operating my shack PC remotely, so there is no hardware, other the the RasPi connected).

Re: Help with Modified MKCM SPE Amp.json

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

yes that's correct.? I did sudo reboot not shutdown (but will have tried that by the time you read this :D )

OK, with USB cable plugged into the PC the Windows version works.

Next, to confirm, you did move the USB to the Pi? Did you reboot the Pi after plugging in the USB? Not just restart FRStack. From the terminal prompt

sudo shutdown -fr now

Yes I did do the restarting (even reboot, although I know it's overkill).

I have the spe utility running on my windows machine, I'm not aware on a Linux version.

Ill look again for a firmware update, and may try and see if using the remote serial interface works any different.

Thanks for all your help!

Scott - Another thought.

Are you shutting down and restarting?FRStack after each change to the config file?

?

Shutdown Command. ? ??sudo systemctl stop FRStackWebApi

?

Start Command. ? ? ??sudo systemctl start FRStackWebApi

?

And then, make sure FRStack is running:

?

Status Command. ??systemctl status FRStackWebApi

?

?

Word of caution.? FRstack will fail to start if there are any syntax errors in the appsettings.json config file.? Good to check FRStack is running.
