I am working on a RPi variant of FRStack's WebAPIs. This service daemon will allow you to connect to a radio, select a client, adjust radio and active slice parameters. It will support UDP features, amp tune protection, SPE amp control, SteppIR control. It will have Enable TX on Active slice, Mute other slices on Active Slice and follow active slice. This?daemon has no UI so I will include a Node Red Flows demonstrating the APIs. One new feature is Meter data delivered to Node Red in the form of a Web Socket.

I use the metering in the KPA1500. I kept monitoring and control simple, to what I need for remote operation. But the nice thing with Node Red is any avalable command or info returned can be displayed. It is just how crazy you want to go.

For the people new to Node Red, install it and load some flows to look at the different nodes ?nodes to see how we manipulate the data. Looking at examples helps to learn.

As always, ask questions here. Pretty much any equipment with serial, USB, or IP can be added.?
